Borneo Child Aid / PKPKM Sabah

Borneo Child Aid /PKPKM Sabah is providing education for 1900 marginalised and stateless children in Sabah, Malaysia:

The society's aim is to provide education and care to children of the Bajau Laut (sea gypsies) and other marginalised children in Sabah.       These children do not have access to school, and often lack food security, and are vulnerable to glue sniffing and other abuse.      The Society presently operates 10 Children's Centres on remote islands and in town areas. Presently about 1900 children are enrolled at the centres, but the need is much bigger. Our aim is to expand the centres to more communities and islands and to reach many more of the thousands of children without access to schools.
